Our proposition
Brenergy International focuses on developing renewable energy projects up to Ready-to-Build (RtB) status, after which the projects are offered to investors or asset owners.
Whenever possible, potential buyers are involved at an early stage in the development process. This allows them to contribute to the technical design that is submitted to the relevant authorities for permitting and grid connection applications. Early involvement helps ensure that the project structure aligns with the buyer’s requirements and ultimately enables a smooth and time-efficient transaction once RtB status is achieved.
Development Process
Our project development process typically consists of the following key steps:
- Securing land agreements with landowners
- Securing grid connection capacity through a deposit with the relevant DSO or TSO
- Submitting the construction and environmental permit applications to the competent authorities
- Public objection period (typically 120 days)
- Finalization of the energy offtake structure, confirmation of grid feasibility, and obtaining irrevocable Ready-to-Build (RtB) status
Once the grid connection for a project has been secured, the project will be published in a protected investor environment.
